About Prospectour

Prospectour is a free-to-play, location-based idle mining game for iOS and Android, made in the United Kingdom. The idea is simple: the real world is the game board. Walk somewhere, claim the map square under your feet, and it quietly mines nuggets and gems for you around the clock — even while the app is closed. Every square is real land at map zoom level 21, every claim rolls one of eight rarity tiers, and only one player can own a square at a time. You can watch the world being claimed live on the Land Registry.

Prospectour is operated from the United Kingdom. The data controller for the game and this website is Prospectour (United Kingdom), and our Data Protection Officer is Mark Deakin. The game is rated 18+ and we process personal data under the UK GDPR — the full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
