Put your business on the map.
Prospectour players claim real-world map squares. Partner with us and your business gets its own pin on the public Land Registry map — tap it, and it opens your listing right here on this page.
The partners
Local businesses with a pin on the Prospectour map. Tap one to visit them.
No partners on the map yet — yours could be the first.
How it works
Three steps, and none of them need anything installing. We do the map side; you send us the details.
- 1
Tell us about your business
Name, address, a link, and a line about what you do. That is the whole application.
- 2
We place the pin
We check the address and drop your pin on the map square your premises actually sit on, so it lands in the right place when someone zooms in.
- 3
Your pin goes live
Anyone browsing the Land Registry can tap it, read who you are, and follow the link straight through to you.
What is involved
No exclusivity, no minimum term, and nothing to install. Everything below is the complete list.
What you get
- A pin at your premises
- Placed on the real map square your address sits on, visible to anyone browsing the map.
- A listing on this page
- Your name, what you do, and a link out to your own site or booking page.
- A pin that goes somewhere
- Tapping the pin opens your listing — it is a route to you, not a decoration.
- A slot on our home page
- Your logo in the scrolling banner of partners on prospectour.co.uk, if you send one.
What we need
- Business name and address
- The trading address, so the pin lands on the right square.
- A link
- Your website, booking page, or social profile — wherever you want people to end up.
- One or two lines
- A short description in your own words. We will not write it for you.
- Your logo
- Square works best. Without one you still get a listing here, but not a slot on the scrolling banner on our home page.
- A contact email
- So we can reply, confirm the details, and let you know when the pin is live.
Good to know
The bits people ask about before they apply.
Is this the same as the map inside the game?
No. Partner pins appear on the public Land Registry map at prospectour.co.uk/map/ — the web map anyone can browse. The game world players walk around in is separate and is not changed by a partner pin.
Does a pin give me the map square my shop sits on?
No. Prospectour is a game, and squares in it are claimed by players. A partner pin is a marker on the web map pointing at your business — it gives you no rights over the square, and no rights over real-world land either.
What does it cost?
The partner programme is just starting, so there is no standard price list yet. Tell us about your business and we will come back to you with the detail before anything goes live.
Can I have my pin taken down later?
Yes, and you do not need us to do it. Sign in at prospectour.co.uk/partners/manage with a one-time code sent to your email, and you can update your listing or remove your pin yourself. There is nothing to cancel and no minimum term.
Do I have to send a logo?
No, but it is worth it. Your listing appears in the partner directory either way; the scrolling banner of partners on our home page only shows businesses that sent a logo. You can add or change one at any time from the manage page.
Apply to be a partner
A few fields and your logo. We check the address, come back to you by email, and put your pin on the map. We are taking partners on a rolling basis while the programme finds its feet.
